Advocacy
The ACHM is dedicated to quality assurance and improvement in the practice of hyperbaric medicine. The ACHM and its officers are dedicated to establishing relationships with Medicare and other insurance carriers. ACHM physicians continue to serve on advisory committees that advise on payment policies and practice issues. The Board of Directors passionately advocate on behalf of members to send letters and arrange meetings concerning HBOT legislation and specialty codes. Below are some recent efforts of the ACHM.
